General Rental Conditions
1. Object
The Week&Yacht offers the possibility of nautical craft hire, as well as aquatic equipment, as well as the hiring of services accessory to that hire to all its clients who accept the terms and conditions contractually defined.
By signing the rental contract, Clients declare that they accept these general conditions, as well as any specific conditions that they may have subscribed to and are irrevocably bound to comply with them.
Clients undertake to comply with all legal and contractual obligations arising from the rental of the above mentioned boats and nautical equipment, as well as the service provision contracts.
2. Prices
All prices quoted are per boat, equipment and service provision and include VAT and all other taxes, unless otherwise stated.
All details and conditions of the rental and service contract must be verified prior to making a booking.

4. General Coditions
If the contracted service does not include the hiring of a skipper, the Client must be:
i. a minimum age of 21 years old;
ii. a seaman’s licence issued by the competent legal authorities;
and
iii. not be in a state compatible with the consumption of psychotropic substances or excessive alcohol consumption.
On the date of delivery of the boat, the Client will be obliged to show a personal identification document proving the minimum age, as well as the seaman’s licence of which he/she is the holder.
5. Cancellation
The booking can be paid for in full or in part to secure the hire and service provision as indicated during the booking process.
Payment is processed securely from your credit/debit card or bank account to the Week&Yacht bank account.
The payment of the total amount of the reservation is made, compulsorily, before the delivery of the boat and/or the rented equipment.
On the date of payment, Week&Yacht will ask the client to provide a deposit.
The deposit can be given by credit card, paypal or in cash.
The deposit will be returned if, at the end of the contract
i. there is no damage to the boats and equipment used by the Client. If there is any damage, the deposit will be refunded;
ii. payment is made for the fuel that must be filled by the Client at the end of the contract. If the Customer does not ensure the payment or refilling of the fuel at the end of the contract, the payment due will be made through the guarantee provided.
iii. the maximum duration of the contracted service is respected. If the Client does not ensure delivery of the vessel and/or the other rented equipment by the end of the contracted time period, the difference in payment due will be made through the guarantee provided.
6. Cancellation
By making a booking you declare to accept and agree to the cancellation policy set by Week&Yacht.
A booking may be cancelled (without notice) if payment cannot be collected on the due date in accordance with the payment policy. Delayed payment, incorrect bank or credit card details, invalid debit or credit cards or insufficient funds are the Renter’s responsibility.
A booking may also, and at any time, be cancelled, totally or partially, if, due to weather or sailing conditions, it is not possible to ensure the use of the rented goods and/or the provision of services under safe conditions, with no right to any indemnity and/or compensation arising from this fact.
Should the Customer wish to cancel a reservation, the following cancellation policy is applicable:
i. On the date the reservation is made, 100% of the total amount of the reservation will be charged;
ii. If the cancellation occurs up to 7 days before 00:00 hours of the first day or the day of rental, the full amount will be refunded;
iii. If the cancellation occurs after the date mentioned in ii., the total amount will be charged and there will be no refund.
7. Contact
By completing a booking, you agree to receive (i) an email from Week&Yacht with information about your booking and other details and offers (including third party offers if you have chosen to activate this information) relevant to your rental and destination; and (ii) an email from Week&Yacht after the rental agreement has ended inviting you to leave a comment about your experience.
8. Liability
Week&Yacht guarantees to take out all legally binding public liability contracts.
The Clients are exclusively responsible for all the damages, patrimonial and not patrimonial, that can result of the non fulfilment of the terms and conditions of use of the boats and equipment rented by them.
